WHO WE ARE
An Award-Winning Nursery Setting bustling with fun and creativity.
An open plan setting, encouraging confident, independent learners, with seperate and secure baby unit, offering a home-from-home learning environment, with plentiful outside play space for children to explore and have fun. Dinotots Childcare Nursery, located in Newsham, Blyth, prides itself on radiating a ‘community feel’ across the setting, with a focus on teaching children valuable lessons about themselves and the world around them. We promote a sense of self-regulation and adopt a ‘Curiosity approach’ to our learning. The nursery building has been carefully and thoughtfully redesigned to create both an open plan area for the children over 2 years old and a safe and secure baby unit for the under 2's. The open plan design allows for an abundance of natural light, and a spacious area that provides opportunities for children to free play and decide how they want to spend their day through child-led activities whilst being supported and supervised by our qualified and passionate nursery team ...Our skilled and experienced team assist to build a solid foundation for life, through developing independence, confidence and a love of learning and exploration. The nursery has a beautiful and secure outdoor area, enriched with a selection of resources to strengthen children’s physical health, motor skills and emotional wellbeing. Our outdoor area encourages children to explore nature, plant herbs and flowers. As the Nursery is situated in close proximity to Newsham Primary School, the transition to ‘big school’ becomes a seamless experience due to the familiarity of being near the school grounds. Safety and Care is our number one priority at Dinotots Childcare and with plenty of opportunities to grow and learn, we are committed to creating a fun and bright future together.

FUNDING AND ASSISTANCE
Help may be available for your childcare costs
We know that, no matter how great or how cost-efficient we try to make the nursery, the cost of day nursery can put many mums and dads off choosing it as an option.
There may, however, be help out there to assist you. There are a range of Government schemes open to parents that can make nursery affordable and we will do everything we can to help you understand the choices and access the funding that you might be eligible for.
Here are a few options:
Tax-Free Childcare – For working families earning under £100k and at least £131 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) each who aren’t receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.
15 hours and 30 hours Funded Childcare – For many working parents of 2 year olds, and 3 – 4 year olds for 38 weeks each year.
Committed to encouraging children to develop, learn and be creative
“At Dinotots Children’s Nursery, we follow the Curiosity Approach which creates a cosy, homely environment where we can explore, learn and grow into independent learners utilising authentic resources, recycled materials and loose parts learning to look after equipment as we go.
We have a large, self-contained outdoor space to support our physical skills and well being, building assault courses, planing plants and herbs. Our setting is laid out over one floor with lots of free-flow space where children are treated as individuals and feel secure to express themselves and their personalities confidently.
We are often seen out and about in the community, visiting the allotments, local shops, the farm and the park and have a very good relationship with the local sheltered housing where we visit, sing together, and do craft workshops.”
